AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC)
The AICPA is committed to helping its members achieve the highest standards in performing quality governmental audits. This firm-based voluntary membership Center is designed to help CPAs meet the challenges of performing quality audits in this unique and complex area.
The Center's primary purpose is to promote the importance of quality governmental audits and the value of such audits to purchasers of governmental audit services. Committed to member service and the public interest, the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants and its predecessors have been serving the
accounting profession since 1887.
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants is the national, professional
organization for all Certified Public Accountants. Its mission is to provide
members with the resources, information, and leadership that enable them to
provide valuable services in the highest professional manner to benefit the
public as well as employers and clients.
In fulfilling its mission, the AICPA works with state CPA organizations and
gives priority to those areas where public reliance on CPA skills is most significant.
Arkansas State Society of CPAs (ASCPA)
The Arkansas Society of CPAs (ASCPA) is an active professional organization
of CPAs working together to improve the profession and serve the public interest.
With over 80 years of service to the accounting profession, the mission of
